Every day we analyze our conditions, make careful choices based on the consequences of our actions and ensure sustainability. We care about the sustainability of businesses, farmers and our planet that are directly or indirectly involved in our activities.

We want a sustainable future for the entire coffee industry that is environmentally sound, fair to farmers and accessible to all.

What Are We Doing About Sustainability at Traum?

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Environmental sustainability refers to behaviors that protect the world we live in. We have taken steps toward environmental sustainability by creating a formal environmental policy and collaborating with coffee producers who share our commitment to sustainable methods.

SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY

For us, the concept of economic sustainability means that the labor and effort spent in the production of coffee is paid at a fair price. That is why we work in accordance with the principles of fair trade and establish long-term cooperation with our producers.

SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY

With social sustainability, we mean the health and happiness of the people our work impacts. We want to make sure our employees, producers and stakeholders are happy.

For our own employees, we combat all forms of discrimination in the work environment by giving everyone the same chances. For our producers, we try to value the work of women in the coffee value chain and establish long-term relationships with them.
